| Entries close November 8, 2010 at 8:00 pm or when a full limit of 450 entries has been reached. All fees must accompany entries and must be payable in U.S. funds. No post-dated checks will be accepted. There is a $50 fee for each check returned for insufficient funds. Please make checks payable to: DAYTON CAT FANCIERS. Please type or print legibly. Collect calls will be made in the event an entry is illegible or incomplete. Use only official CFA entry blanks or Online Entry. Adult entries without registration numbers will be returned. |
| SHOW HOURS: You must check in with the entry clerk between 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. The advertised show hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Entries, with the exception of kittens, must remain in the show hall until the advertised closing times, unless permission to leave is obtained from the show manager. |
| CFA show rules will be strictly enforced. Current show rules ($7.00) and breed standards ($9.00) may be obtained from the Cat Fanciers Association, Inc., 1805 Atlantic Avenue PO Box 1005, Manasquan, NJ 08736-0805. Registration numbers of kittens must be printed or written in ink in the catalog to be scored. Kittens without registration numbers may be shown, but will not be scored. Kittens must be four months old by the first day of the show. The club reserves the right to add judges not named in this flyer to judge non-championship and non-premiership entries. All championship, premiership and registered kitten entries will be scored for CFA national and regional awards. Household Pets will be judged in eight rings. |
| VETTING AND BENCHING: All cats and kittens should be inoculated against feline enteritis, rhinotracheitis, calici viruses, rabies, and tested for FELV and FIV. Exhibits must be free of fungus, fleas, and ear mites. All claws must be clipped prior to benching. Kittens under 4 months of age are not permitted in the show hall. Only one benching request per exhibitor will be honored. Cages are approximately 22" x 22" x 22" |
| FOOD AND SUPPLIES: Litter will be provided if possible. To be safe bring your own litter pans. Food services for exhibitors and spectators will be available in the show hall. Exhibitors are not to bring food or drink into the show hall. |
| AWARDS AND PREMIUMS: Ribbons and rosettes will be provided in accordance with show rules. Designated flats will be used for first, second, and third place, for best and second best of color, and for best and second best of breed. Contributions to the awards will be appreciated. |
| ADVERTISING: We welcome your camera ready advertising. Catalog size is 8.5" x 11". Advertising copy must be received by the closing date. Full Page $50.00, Half Page $30.00, Quarter Page $20.00, and Business Card size $10.00. |
| Novice exhibitors, please bring your own cage drapes, cat food and grooming aids. Cages size is 22" x 22" x 22". No cats will be allowed in the show hall overnight. Security will be provided but the club will not be responsible for losses or damages to personal property. The show hall is heated and air-conditioned. This is a NON-SMOKING show hall. If you are a smoker, please indicate this in your benching instructions to insure that you are benched near the smoking area. We will make every attempt to provide a smoking area but do not guarantee one inside. |
